“Technology for Life” - The Robert Bosch AG prize
Robert Bosch AG offers its partnership to final-year students of HTLs by organising a nationwide contest. Looking for young talent in our country, Robert Bosch AG will distinguish excellent achievements of young talented engineers for the first time in 2008.
The special feature of this contest is that it is geared towards a competition for diploma thesis projects. With its state-of-the-art tasks in the fields of “motor vehicle engineering”, “engineering industry” and “technology of articles of daily use and buildings”, the contest is a true challenge for passionate problem-solvers among would-be holders of the professional title Ingenieur/Ingenieurin. The quality of implementation is in the foreground of the submitted projects. The task is that the skills acquired at school should be applied and implemented in an optimal way. Therefore the “Technology for Life” prize differs from classical ideas’ competitions.
The Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture welcomes this initiative as an interesting contribution to promoting potential innovation among our students and hopes that Austrian HTLs will be able to present themselves to the public with many successful solutions to problems and hence as a creative hotbed for budding engineers.
The details of the competition can be found at the website www.bosch.at/tfl.
