School inspection in the regional education boards is responsible for fulfilling immediate consulting, support, coordination and steering functions for the school type that is within their sphere of competence. The school inspection bodies in charge of schools and colleges for engineering, arts and crafts fulfil their task within the framework of the following key processes: regional educational planning, quality assurance within the framework of teaching and final exams, interface management between bm:ukk – regional education boards – schools, HR and resource management, quality management. - Level bm:ukk – Unit for Colleges and Schools for Engineering, Arts and Crafts
